We are seeking Arborists to help grow our business operations in, both, Southern and Northern California. Description

The ideal Arborist candidate is a self-starter that possesses a strong business acumen, solid leadership abilities, an in-depth knowledge of the market, and great customer relations skills. They will use their skillset to help position the business for growth and profitability.
Responsibilities:
  • Presents proposed work to prospective clients in an articulate, compelling way, which conveys The Arbor Group LLC as an industry leader
  • Establishes, builds, and maintains trust based relationships with key decision makers
  • Develops value-add on solutions for clients, while simultaneously qualifying opportunities
  • Meets and exceeds sales goals for general tree care, and plant health care
  • Tracks sales through CRM
  • Responsible for marketing, customer service, and other non selling tasks
  • Works with the Marketing Department to implement printed and online promotional materials promoting company services
  • Devises creative solutions to grow the company and promote the brand
  • Monitors the market and competitor services/activities in order to provide detailed sales forecasting
  • Works with Urban Forest Managers, and Production Teams, occasionally checks in at job sites, while work is being performed, to ensure quality and client expectations are being met, per contract specifications
  • Sets quarterly and annual sales goals alongside Leadership
  • Creates sales reports, providing feedback to Leadership Team at Company meetings
  • Identifies where improvements can be made, and develops sales plans with strategies to achieve goals
  • Hosts lunch and learns, to help meet sales goals
  • Attends events, as needed

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a strong team environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Extensive knowledge of principles, procedures, and best practices in the tree care industry
  • Exemplary customer service skills

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing or other industry related field preferred, but not required
  • Certified Arborist
  • TRAQ preferred, but not required
