Responsibilities include:Design and planning of architecture to support goals of the projectDevelop large scale complex applications that are deployed to a distributed architectureAssist development teams in activities such as load testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuningDesign highly scalable databases and develop applications against a relational database requiredUtilizes expert knowledge of J2EE and Java development to troubleshoot technical issues (error messages, software bugs, performance )Proactively communicates with the development, QA teams and management to anticipate configuration management issues/process and project issuesProactively seeks opportunities to implement improvements to internal team processesEnsures that all best practices and enterprise standards are followedQualificationsBachelor’s Degree (8 years of additional relevant technical management experience may be substituted for education)5 years experience analyzing, designing and implementing integration solutions using J2EE technologies or related technologies8-10 years experience with multiple programming technologies, including Java, XML/XSLT/WSDL, Spring/Hibernate, Web ServicesStrong skills designing highly scalable databases and developing applications against a relational database required.Hands-on experience developing message-oriented integration solutions with JavaKey technical experience in areas such as J2EE, XML, Web Services and SOAExperience with a wide variety of testing tools and techniques, ex.
