The Davis Academy, an independent Kindergarten Prep - Eight Grade school in Dunwoody/Sandy Springs, seeks an experienced Extended Day Program Coordinator for the 2024-2025 school year. Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in relevant field.

· Three years of teaching or child care experience.

· Valid GA Professional Standards Commission approved certificate in appropriate educational field appreciated but not required.

· Strong ability to communicate effectively in a friendly manner with all constituents in a school environment.

Essential Functions

· Creates and facilitates an after-school environment that is engaging, safe, and nurturing for students in PreK – 8th grade.

· Maintains a clean and attractive Extended Day space.

· Maintains student files including contracts, and documentation of arrival and dismissal.

· Responsible for planning and implementing adequate activities (indoors and outdoors), homework time, and educational materials.

· Ensures the extended day contains sufficient supplies, materials, and snacks.

· Supervises, monitors, trains, and evaluates the performance of program staff members.

· Maintains positive relationships among students, parents, and employees.

· Performs other duties as assigned.
