Job Summary Security and Safety is dedicated to providing quality leadership, services and solutions to safeguard people and the environment, secure and protect company information and assets and enhance operational efficiency. Special Programs Security provides quality leadership, services and solutions to safeguard people and the environment, secure and protect company information and assets as well as enhance operational efficiency for the Corporation. You will serve as the Director of Security responsible for ensuring successful physical security programs are in place by implementing programs for protecting classified and unclassified sensitive information. Performs specialized duties in one or more security disciplines. Demonstrates behavior that is consistent with the company’s values of Dedication to Mission Success, Technical Excellence, Commitment to Our People, Integrity, and Objectivity. This position is responsible for supporting Department of Defense (DoD) agencies and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) activities. This position supports both Aerospace and Government customers within a classified environment. What You’ll Be Doing Direct all aspects of Defense Security Counterintelligence Agency and Security Agency (DCSA), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Programs (SAP) Supervises security team members Oversee ICD705 construction Manages 24X7 contractor guard force Ensures compliance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) Expert knowledge with DoD 5205 series SAP Manuals to include JSIG Directs all aspects of security related investigations, training, operations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local security operations, policies, and procedures utilizing identified best practices and risk management principles Implement and maintain a COMSEC program Writes and approves Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) with customer located on the Colorado Springs campus Writes Co-Use and Joint Use Agreements with government customers Work with support departments to ensure compliance with contract/subcontract security requirements Responsible for local Insider Threat Program, and pre-publication reviews Oversees the adherences of classified storage, annual classified inventory, classified media control, and the visitor control program within the secure areas Responsible for the reporting of adverse information to the appropriate CSAs Assists with the implementation, and maintenance of Fire Life Safety, emergency preparedness, and EHS programs to ensure compliance, injury prevention, and risk mitigation Respond to emergencies that require either an evacuation, shelter-in-place (SIP) order, or lock down Alarm Response is a requirement Conduct evaluations including but not limited to indoor air quality and ergonomics What You Need to be Successful 8 or more years of relevant experience with High School Diploma or 5 or more years of relevant experience with bachelor’s degree from an accredited college Current TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain SAP accesses. U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance Experience in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Experience with security and safety programs Knowledgeable of the DoDM 5205.07 Volumes 1-4 SAP manuals, Joint Special Access Program (SAP) Implementation Guide (JSIG), NISPOM, and ICD series manuals How You Can Stand Out 10 or more years of relevant experience with Master’s Degree from an accredited college TS/SCI with adjudicated polygraph Customer service orientation CDSE Certifications Certified Protection Professional (CPP) SCIF Construction/ ICD 705 Training Industrial Security Professional (ISP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) Physical Requirements/Work Environments • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time • Ability to use a computer to complete assignments • Ability to communicate with individuals and groups in person, by phone and telepresence • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will typically work in an office environment Ability to climb ladders We offer a competitive compensation package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business. The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.
