The Adirondack Club, the area’s premiere health and recreational facility, located in Franklin, MA. We offer fitness ( personal training, small group personal training, sports performance, and Pilates), group exercise, tennis, swimming, and childcare services all onsite.
The Adirondack Club recently finished another expansion project that enhanced both our fitness and performance training areas.
Our Field House training space includes 8500 square feet of turf with surrounding netting and a fenced in 1800 square feet rubber training space with functional training equipment. We also have another private Training Zone which includes 3500 square feet of turf, 1500 square feet of rubber training space and function training equipment.
We are looking for a candidate who wants to join a team of coaches and to help us continue to build the performance training program at the club. We are committed to our team members and work closely to help develop their skills and build their training hours to reach income goals.
Candidates must be energetic and passionate about helping athletes achieve their performance goals. The ideal candidate will have youth, high school, and/or college sports performance training or coaching experience.
Many of your clients will be provided for you along with being assigned program-based time slots (typically 12-week session). You will need to learn a simple sales system and be responsible for managing your private training client’s schedules.
You will be actively involved in promoting, programming, and coaching youth (7-10), middle school and high school sports performance training. Early afternoons, evenings, nights, and/or weekend hours are expected. Summer sports performance training moves to the morning.
If interested, there are many adult general population training opportunities for private and small group personal training.
We offer competitive splits (percentage of redeemed training) and club privileges.
At least one current nationally recognized certification is required, and a thorough knowledge of current industry techniques and equipment is necessary. Candidates must demonstrate successful selling and promotional skills. The ability to educate, motivate, and monitor clients and give feedback to parents is required.

Qualifications
· Ideally one year of performance training and/or personal training and program design experience
· Prior experience coaching team sports or small group fitness
· Nationally recognized personal training certification (ACE, ACSM, NASM, NSCA, NPTI, CSCCA, ISSA)
· Other certification CFSC
· College degree in Kinesiology or Exercise Science is a plus
· CPR/AED certification
