The Academy of Harpeth Village is hiring for loving, patient, and kind teachers!

We provide quality childcare for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. But we are more than just daycare. We pride ourselves in the level of care and education we provide for the children. You want work for The Academy if you are not just looking for a job but looking for a purpose.

JOB SPECIFICS:

• The Academy of Harpeth Village in Nashville (Bellevue)
• M-F, 8a-6pm (these hours can vary depending on the age group)
• Helping all classes and age groups depending on the needs of the center that day
• Degree in childhood related field is recommended but not required
• Experience in early childhood is recommended but not required
• FULL BENEFIT package included!

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass a background and abuse registry check.
• A passion for playful learning, and a desire to care for, motivate and uplift young lives. Compassion, commitment, and the ability to remain calm in the midst of crying little ones is essential.

What your typical day will be like? The simple answer is there is no typical day! Every day is an adventure. You will be responsible for the care and well-being of little ones including diapering, bottles/meals, rest time, outdoor play, curriculum implementation, and close supervision. Combine all this with songs, stories and silliness and you have a typical day at The Academy!

This job is not for everyone. It will push you to be your best self. Our preschoolers deserve passionate and patient teachers, and we expect nothing less. Our Preschool Teachers create an amazing childhood for our little students and lay a foundation that will positively impact the rest of their lives!
