TGG Accounting has partnered with clients in the San Diego area, needing Jr accountants to join several accounting departments.

We are a dynamic and growing accounting firm specializing in providing financial services to all industries. The team is composed of highly skilled professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional results and building long-term client relationships. We are currently seeking a motivated and tech-savvy individual to join as a Junior Accountant

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience (1 year preferred but not compulsory)
• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a similar field
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Benefits

• The salary is between $40,000 - $55,000 depending on experience
• Hybrid schedule: 2 days in office and 3 remote

Responsibilities

• Assist the senior accountants in recording day-to-day financial transactions accurately and timely
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of accounting records by verifying and reconciling documentation and resolving discrepancies
• Create journal entries and maintain the general ledger
• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and reports.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

• Process accounts payable invoices, reconcile vendor statement discrepancies, and initiate payments
• Collect and record tenant rental payments, apply them accurately, and maintain tenant accounts
• Assist in managing accounts receivable, send monthly statements, and follow up on outstanding balances as needed
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accurate recording of transactions
• Investigate any discrepancies and resolve issues proactively
• Prepare and submit regular cash flow reports to management
