TForce Logistics is Hiring a Site Manager Near Somerset, NJ

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Site Manager is responsible for the daily management of delivery operations, ensure that policies and procedures are adhered to and to maintain a good working relation with Pharmacy, Dispatch, Drivers, and the public.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure exceptional customer service is achieved by exceeding "service targets" and objectives, customer relations.
  • Ensure the quality and fairness of the Dispatch department, fill in as Dispatch back-up when required, and make sure there is coverage 24 hours, 365 days per year, and oversee route releases for on-time delivery.
  • Recommend staffing needs for the Operations department.
  • Recruit, hire, and ensure adequate training of dispatching staff.
  • Recruit, hire, and ensure adequate training of drivers/independent contractors.
  • Monitor revenue and cost levels to ensure efficiency, profitability and institute policies and procedures to correct inadequacies.
  • Establish and maintain productive relationship and ensure customer expectations are being met.
  • Ensure adherence to procedural and policy requirements of various government bodies.
  • Run weekly reports.
  • Assist Branch Manager and Regional Manager.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 1-year experience in a Supervisory capacity in Logistical Operation.
  • Minimum 2 years industry experience (logistics).
  • Must possess excellent leadership qualities.
  • Must possess experience in using Microsoft
  • Must possess excellent both oral and written communication skills.
  • Must possess a high level of interpersonal and organizational skills and self-discipline.
