• Position Requirements:

• Must have Mechanical electrical background
• Must-Have MCA certification 
• Must-Have IR certification 

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required, college is preferred

  Strong understanding of electro-mechanical fundamentals and corrective actions

  Ability to work independently

  Strong written/verbal communication is critical in addressing key technical and customer issues

  Two or more years of direct Vibration Analysis experience.

  POSITION PURPOSE

  Responsible for providing PdM services to Allied clients as directed by management. The Analyst assists in coordinating activities, scheduling work, and preparing the necessary technical reports. The Analyst will be accountable for ensuring compliance with all Allied, client, OSHA, and other applicable safety standards. The Analyst is also expected to be a technical resource to the client and employees in the troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical equipment. The analyst will be asked to perform specific projects and audits that will be assigned by supervision. Analysts are normally assigned an area of the plant for the collection, analysis, and reporting of technical data.

QUALIFICATIONS /COMPETENCIES /POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education/Certification & Experience Required:

• At least 5 years field experience and associated knowledge of reliability principles.
• Must have Mechanical electrical background.
• Must-Have MCA certification 
• Must-Have IR certification 

Skills/Abilities:

• Leadership and project management skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills; able to prepare memos, reports, and essays using proper punctuation, spelling, and grammar.
• Proficient computer skills, including but not limited to Windows, Word, and Excel.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work well independently.

Repetitive Motions:

• Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

TRAVEL:

• Minimum 50% travel required.

GOOD Visual Abilities:

• Keen visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate, inspect, and adjust machinery.

Average Hearing:

• Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.

Physical Strength:

• Alternating periods of active work and sedentary work. Exerts up to 40 lbs. of force occasionally.
