Quality Supervisor
(Job Number: 322577)Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation
vehicles, snowmobiles, side-by-sides, all-terrain vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support
equipment. Textron Specialized Vehicles markets products under several different brands. Its vehicles are found in
environments ranging from golf courses to factories, airports to planned communities, and theme parks to hunting
preserves.
- Instruct, correct, and train employees in the proper use of inspection equipment and the performance of
- Establish a planned quality audit system to investigate and create corrective actions for field failures and
- Develop process audits and ensure suppliers discover appropriate responses to corrective action requests.
- Ensure proper equipment is used for the accuracy of measurement as required by specifications and
- Work with suppliers to decrease deviations in part specifications.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate the inspection group on production activities to ensure deviations are
- Provide feedback and lead discussion on quality performance
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain or related field required
- Experience: 3 or more years of experience required, experience in a manufacturing environment
- Software Knowledge: Quality Management Systems and related tools including APQP, PPAP, control
- Thorough understanding of Quality tools such as SPC, Capability Analysis (Cp, CpK, PpK), Gage R&R, and
- Must be able to interpret part/assembly blueprints and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
