Texoma Medical Center in Denison, TX has full-time openings for RNs who enjoy patient care and nursing leadership. This position will provide patient care, assume shift responsibility and accountability for the planning and provision of direct and indirect nursing care to the patient, family, care partner and appropriate others. Coordinates multi-disciplinary team members, directs and facilitates nursing staff in obtaining safe, optimal healthcare outcomes. Supports activities that meet the facility vision, mission and goals. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision.

Openings are on specialized care units, including - Internal Medicine/Renal; Respiratory; Ortho/Surgical/Trauma; and Cardiac PCU.

We have openings on Day and Night shifts.

Job Requirements

• Current Texas nursing license or compact license.
• 2 years full time nursing experience in acute care setting.
• 1 year charge /supervisory experience
• AHA BLS required at hire.
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
• Must be able to identify and competently address needs of populations served.
