TexMed Home Health is seeking a Physical Therapist for a PRN position immediately available for Killeen/Temple and surrounding areas

As a Physical Therapist , you will:

Provide physical therapy eval and re-eval visits for home health patients and participate with the coordination of care with the physician and Nursing staff. PT will be required to report patient care, condition, and progress to patients' physician and Director of Nursing on a continual basis.

TexMed is looking for an independent worker with strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills to lead our excellent team of in-house therapists. Home Health experience and use of HCHB software preferred but not required.

Job description:

• The Physical Therapist / PT is responsible for the assessment of referred patients that require therapy services in their home which includes; providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation.
• Also, the Physical Therapist / PT will establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician.
• The Physical Therapist / PT must set realistic and achievable goals for their patients, document and record the patient's condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate physical therapy method.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $90.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 20 per week
