Texell, voted one of the BEST credit unions to work for in the NATION by the Credit Union Journal, is seeking a Lending Member Representative to join our team! This is an onsite position at our Temple headquarters position where you will assist staff and members via phone and digital channels.

About this role:

The Lending Member Representative will work closely with the Lending Consultants for cross selling and loan support, to include being familiar with all consumer loan products that the Credit Union offers. The Lending Member Representative will build and develop relationships with members by telephone. The Lending Member Representative will provide administrative support with quality assurance of member communication and sales reporting.

As a Lending Member Representative, you will be responsible for:

• Auditing and quality control of lending consultant calls to include 5% of call volume, grading each call according to metrics that are provided by management. Auditing for quality control on all cross sells and product sales.
• Taking the lead over all communication channels for Lending Consultants to ensure adequate member follow-up is completed. Assist consumer prospects with the loan application process to include navigating the member through the online workflow, assisting with capturing required documentation to complete the loan process, rate inquires and communicating with members loan decisions.
• Cross-training to become proficient in understanding consumer loans with complete job knowledge of all loans the credit union offers. Actively works all guaranteed loans that are offered to consumers, to include cross selling the product and completing the loan documentation process. Delegates loans from the online channel to loan officers to be worked in a timely manner.
• Completing daily reporting, monthly reporting, and quarterly reporting for department sales.
• Performing such other functions and special projects that might be needed from time to time and assists others to complete tasks and work assignments.

We're looking for someone who has:

• The desire to work in a back-office setting. This is not a member facing role. You will be assisting members and staff via phone and digital channels all day.
• Stable job history - we love seeing those who have been with their employer 2 or more years as we value job loyalty.
• Up to six months of similar or related experience including time spent in similar or preparatory positions.
• Lending, call center, banking, and sales experience is a huge plus!
• The ability to work in a very fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with all Microsoft 365 products.
• Integrity, team spirit, and can work comfortably in a highly dynamic environment.
