Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in administrative roles
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with clinic policies, HIPAA regulations, and EMR systems
• Strong customer service skills
• General understanding of HIPAA guidelines

• Part-time Front and Back Office Medical Assistant (3 years experience as a Medical Assistant with pediatric experience or related experience)
• Knowledge of examination, diagnostic, skin testing, and injection room procedures a plus
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology
• Understanding of common safety hazards and precautions to maintain a safe workplace
• Excellent customer service ability
• Excellent organizational skills

• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public
• Reliable transportation
• Must be willing to work occasional Saturday mornings

• Computer knowledge mandatory, 3 years EMR Experience
• Willingness to cross-train and perform front office and back office tasks
• Vital Signs Infants, toddlers (3 years experience)

Responsibilities:

• Creating an exceptional patient experience for the patients
• Greeting, welcoming, and caring for patients in an exceptional way
• Verifying insurances, eligibility, prior authorization, and recording patient health information and demographics accurately
• Calculating patient payments and outstanding balances prior to their appointments
• Collecting payments
• Answering incoming phone calls, triaging correctly, and answering questions
• Scheduling follow-up appointments and procedures
• Preparing the clinic and stocking front desk, waiting room, break room, etc., with necessary supplies
• Requesting Medical Records from outside
• Willingness to be cross-trained for both front and back medical office skills
• Able to administer subcutaneous and intramuscular injections
• Maintains log of all calls requiring further action
• Establishes and maintains files and records
• Accepts and signs for packages and notifies addressee of package arrival
• Performs a variety of routine clerical tasks
• Maintains clean and orderly reception area
• Organizes the clinic
• Assists with prior authorizations
