Texas Star Refreshments is Hiring a Vending Route Driver Near Lubbock, TX
Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Route Driver to join our team. As a Route Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products to our customers on assigned routes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Your excellent communication and sales skills will be essential in providing exceptional customer services. You can apply online at www.texasstarrefreshment.com or come by in person at 8903 Ave P between the hours of 8:00am to 3:00pm Monday - Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to deliver products to customers on assigned routes
- Follow predetermined delivery routes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including invoices, payments, and customer signatures
-Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and non-DOT physical.
-Must have a good driving record.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks
Experience:
- Previous experience in route driving or commercial driving is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Basic math skills to handle cash transactions and calculate product prices
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) repeatedly throughout the day
- Familiarity with local roads and neighborhoods in order to navigate efficiently
