• Install, alter, and repair sheet metal products and equipment ducts and hoods for HVAC systems utilizing blueprints, drawings, and work orders.

• Layout, measure, and mark dimensions and reference lines
• Convert blueprints into shop drawings to be followed in the construction or assembly of sheet metal product.
• Fasten seams or joints together
• Develop or layout patterns
• Fabricate ducts for high-efficiency heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to maximize the efficiency of systems.
• Finish parts, using hacksaws or hand, rotary, or squaring shears.
• Fabricate or alter parts at construction sites, using shears, hammers, punches, or drills.
• Inspect completed work to ensure proper installation.
• Fabricate parts or components.

• HVAC: 1 year preferred
• Must have own tools
