Heavy Highway Safety Director
Texas Shafts, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Full Time Safety Director!!
Texas Shafts, Inc. is a heavy highway subcontractor, installing foundation drilled shafts for bridges and other structures, working throughout Texas and surrounding states. We have an established Safety Program with EMR rates of .67 for the past 6 years and seek an experienced Safety Director to join us in this constant effort to keep our Employees safe!
A full time position receives our complete benefit package which includes:

Areas of Responsibilities:
· New Hire Orientation
· Site Inspections with regular/daily travel to projects
· Accident prevention and/or investigations
· Safety reporting and interaction with Operations, Management and Project Safety Managers/Supervisors to help identify possible hazards
· Provide Safety training to Texas Shafts, Inc. employees
· Annual Company Safety Meeting
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the construction industry.
· Knowledge of material, methods and tools involved in construction, such as heavy highway construction projects specifically associated with foundation drill shafts for bridges and other structures in preferable.
· Knowledge of Foundation Drill Rig operations and Crane setup / Rigging
· OSHA 10-30 hour training and/or teaching certification
· 1st Aid/CPR training and/or teaching certification
