Texas Security Bank is Hiring a Remote IT Manager (Applications)

Texas Security Bank is a dynamic and innovative Banking Institution committed to providing innovative solutions to our clients. We are currently seeking an experienced IT Manager. The IT Manager directly oversees the internal Information Technology team and works closely with the department managers, executive leadership, and our 3rd party MSP. In partnership with our MSP, you will oversee the management of the Bank’s network, and directly manage the banks 3rd party software applications, internal desktop support team, new product implementations, and ensure seamless operations of all banking applications. This role is ideal for a fast-paced and detail-driven IT professional with a focus on providing a well-organized, secure and proficient technology environment for all stakeholders.

This position is a hybrid position requiring regular on-site meetings and work primarily at our new North Dallas location.

Responsibilities:

Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a small team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Provide guidance, support, and regular feedback to team members.
  • Leads and communicates IT projects throughout the entire lifecycle.
  • Meet and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to establish project scope, system goals, and requirements.

Software Application Management:

  • Oversee the management and support of all 3rd party software applications utilized by the bank.
  • Ensure optimal performance, security, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve issues and implement updates.
  • Support Microsoft Azure and on-site network environment.

New Product Implementations

  • Lead the IT team in the successful implementation of new banking products and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, and systems performance.

Desktop Support

  • Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot core business applications.
  • Provide Tier 1 and 2 backup end-user support.
  • Monitor and complete Tier 3 tickets with excellent customer support.
  • Assist with overall IT Support quality and employee satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in IT within the banking industry.
  • Knowledge of industry standards including GLBA, FFIEC, SOC, NIST, and FDICIA.
  • Strong computer, hardware, software, and analytical skills.
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP network fundamentals and related equipment (including routers, switches, and firewalls).
  • Microsoft Windows server and knowledge of Azure environments.
  • Strong ability to present findings and strategies to management.
  • Excellent problem solving, communication, organization, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to assess business needs and issues and translate them into relevant solutions.
  • Microsoft Windows and Office 365 skill


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fiserv precision and Azure cloud computing knowledge a plus.
  • Certifications/licenses: CISM, CRCMP, CGEIT, CISSP, CITM, PMP, AMA, CEH, CISA, P , S .
  • 5 years experience in IT within the banking industry.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
