CONSTRUCTION HELPER

Texas Pools has been designing and building top-tier swimming pools since 1980. Technically challenging, creative, complex designs are our specialty. We are currently seeking a Construction Helper whose primary responsibility is to support the construction site supervisor in the successful completion of these high-end projects. Texas Pools is seeking an entry level candidate that will exemplify our first-class vision and customer expectations. Texas Pools looks to train and promote from within. Entry Level Position: $17.00 hr.

Job Responsibilities:

• Help keep jobsite clean

• Load, unload, building materials and tools

• Deliver tools and materials to jobsites

• Perform tasks as assigned using small hand and power tools

• Maintain a clean and organized truck

• Occasionally dig trenches and drive stakes into the ground

• Follow company and industry safety rules, practices and procedures

• Take direction from job supervisor and project manager

Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate well - both written and oral

• Quick learner: capable of adapting quickly and learning in a training environment

• Team oriented: works well in a team with ability to take direction

• Ability to understand and follow safety rules, and jobsite regulations

• Strong work ethic: willingness to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, plus overtime when required

• Physically able to stand, walk, climb, balance, lift, bend and move materials and equipment up to 80 pounds, work outdoors daily year-round

• Must have a valid Texas driver's license with good driving record

• Clean cut appearance, must be able to comply with company tattoo policy

• Drug free

• Be able to pass a criminal background check

• Regular, dependable attendance is a required function of the job
