Position: Caregiver [1145]

Program: Pampa, Texas - Alternate Living (Browning)

Salary: $16.55/hr. $250 Sign-On Bonus

Shift available: Full-time (Monday - Thursday splits from 6 am - 9 am & 3 pm - 10 pm; and any relief)
*Other full-time Caregiver shifts available in Pampa, TX*
[1412] Saturday & Sunday from 12 pm - 10 pm; Monday & Tuesday nights from 8 pm - 6 am ($250 Sign-On Bonus)
[1332] Tuesday - Friday splits from 6 am - 9 am & 3 pm - 10 pm ($250 Sign-On Bonus)

Essential duties and responsibilities of the Caregiver:

• Staff will maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful Trauma-Informed Care language
• The Caregiver performs direct care for persons with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in a residential setting
• The Caregiver is responsible for training, transporting, cooking, feeding, bathing, toileting, and other duties associated with daily livings
• Adheres to TPC Business Code of Conduct and reports concerns if ethical and/or business standards defined in the code are compromised

Required qualifications of the Caregiver to be successful in the job:

• No experience required
• Either a high school diploma; GED; or three written professional letters of recommendation and the completion of competency tests
• One semester (12 credit hours) of accredited college work; or minimum of eighth grade reading comprehension level as evidenced by score on the Adult Basic Learning Examination (ABLE)
• Must have a valid Texas driver's license and be insurable under agency vehicle policy
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Preferred qualifications of the Caregiver to be successful in the job:

• Some experience in therapeutic activities
