Role and Responsibilities:
- 🌬️ Administer therapeutic gases and aerosol medications to neonates as prescribed
- 🩺 Conduct routine and intensive respiratory therapy and diagnostic procedures
- 📈 Measure ventilator volumes, pressures, and perform blood gas analysis
- 🚨 Respond to emergency situations and participate in emergency team calls
- 🎓 Educate patients and family members about respiratory care and support programs
- 🔍 Ensure proper operation, cleaning, sterilizing, and storage of respiratory therapy equipment
- 🎓 Active Florida RRT License required
- 🏥 Minimum 1 year of Level 3 NICU experience in acute care settings
- 💖 BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications are mandatory
- 🤓 Ability to work independently with critical thinking skills and minimal supervision
