Texas Nursing Services is Hiring a Medical Surgical RN Near Oviedo, FL
We are seeking a Med-Surg Registered Nurse to join our team, providing care for patients in a 24-bed unit. The primary goal is patient safety and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Observe, assess, and diagnose patient needs
- Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Ensure patient safety and satisfaction
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Nursing Diploma or ASN, BSN preferred
- Recent experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred
- Current Florida State Registered Nurse license (if a compact license is held, an active FL RN license is required within 90 days of hire)
- Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions
- PC skills
- Shifts available for both nights and days
- A minimum of 2 years of hospital experience in MED SURG TELE is required
- Salary ranges from $29.00 for 1 year of experience to $42.13 for 10 years or more of experience, with a maximum of $42.13 for 17 years of experience
- Differentials include $4.50 for nights and $1.50 for weekends
- Relocation assistance available on a case-by-case basis
- A $15k sign-on bonus is available with a 2-year commitment
