Labor & Delivery RN (Nights) - Irving, TX

  • Salary range: $34-$54/hr based on experience.
  • Night Shift Differential: $3.75/hr.
  • Weekend Differential: $4.30/hr.

  • Shift:
    • Nights: 7p-7a
    • Rotating Weekends

Position Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Plan and provide goal-directed nursing care, promoting and advocating for patient health, safety, and rights.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimum patient care.
  • Practice autonomously, adhering to evidence-based practices.
  • Uphold the principles of growth, development, and skills necessary for patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Associates Degree (Required)
    • BSN (Highly Preferred)
  • Licensure/Certification:
    • Texas State RN or RN Compact License .
    • Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Certifications.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 6 months in Labor & Delivery, preferably 1 year.
    • Recent ACUTE care experience, preferably 1 year.

Unit Details:

  • 180-200 Deliveries/month.
  • 12 Beds for L&D, and 22 beds for OB/Post Partum.
  • Nurse to Patient Ratio: 2:1 for L&D and 3:1 for mom-baby.

Compensation:

  • Salary range: $34-$54/hr based on experience.
  • Night Shift Differential: $3.75/hr.
  • Weekend Differential: $4.30/hr.

Additional Notes:

  • Sign-On Bonus: Not guaranteed (please do not advertise).
  • Relocation: Evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
