Home Infusion Nurse Opportunity in Charleston, West Virginia 25312
- Position: Home Infusion Registered Nurse
- Location: Charleston, West Virginia 25312
- Pay: $40-$50/hr
Overview: Join our dedicated team as a Home Infusion Nurse, where you'll be responsible for providing top-notch nursing care to patients in the comfort of their homes. Ensure the safe and accurate administration of parenteral products while maintaining a compassionate and professional demeanor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications, including oral, IM, SQ, and IV products, safely and accurately.
- Establish a rapport with patients and caregivers through empathetic and professional communication.
- Maintain IV access for infusions and perform phlebotomy when necessary.
- Document all patient care activities in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the quality and effectiveness of medications.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans, ensuring they are well-informed and comfortable.
- Stay updated with equipment maintenance and organizational quality improvement efforts.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school with at least 1 year of experience as a registered nurse.
- Valid Registered Nursing license.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Valid driver's license with access to a vehicle for business travel and proof of liability insurance.
- Proficiency in computer operating systems and nursing technology tools.
- Willingness to travel for business purposes.
