Job Overview:
We are seeking skilled Maintenance Technician's to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, and lubricating equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Fabricate and weld components as needed
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively
- Supervise contractors and vendors during maintenance projects
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or customers
- Provide excellent customer service and support to internal stakeholders
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics
- Experience with facilities maintenance, including HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus
- Ability to fabricate and weld components as needed
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
