Job Summary:

As a Juvenile Correctional Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining safety and security within a juvenile correctional facility. You will work closely with young offenders to ensure their well-being and adherence to facility rules.

Responsibilities:

- Supervise and monitor juvenile offenders in a correctional setting
- Enforce facility rules and regulations to maintain order and discipline
- Conduct regular patrols and checks of assigned areas
- Intervene in conflicts or disturbances to prevent escalation
- Provide guidance and support to juveniles in their rehabilitation process
- Document incidents, behaviors, and interactions through detailed report writing
- Utilize CCTV systems for monitoring and surveillance

Requirements:

No experience is necessary but there are minimum age requirements to work directly with youth.

Must be able to pass a background check, physical, drug screen and reference check.

Job Type: Full-time
