Texas Heart and PAC is Hiring a Medical Assistant Near Conroe, TX
About us
Texas Heart and PAC is a small startup Cardiologist Solo Practice in Conroe, TX. We are looking for a Medical Assistant with experience in Cardiology and excellent patient relation skills. The current hours are, Mon-Thur 8:00 am to 2:00pm and Friday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Hours are flexible with no more than 32 in total.
Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient care and treatment
- Take patient medical histories and record vital signs
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments
- Schedule patient appointments and manage medical records
- Provide patient education and instructions for at-home care
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or certification preferred
- Previous experience working in a Cardiology Preferred
-EClinicalWorks experience is a plus
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems,
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
