Job Duties
Plan, organize, and delegate responsibilities and activities as needed for the safe, efficient, and effective operation of the Supply Chain Management departments for assigned location(s).
Responsible and accountable for all staffing needs to include hiring, training, performance reviews, and corrective action if needed. Continually promotes professional growth and development of the staff using all products and education sessions made available by THR. Promotes team work in both decision making and daily activities. Ensures that recognition and rewards are provided to staff as appropriate. Works to ensure that all participate with employee satisfaction surveys and understand the outcomes as well.
Assists in the development, coordination, and continued growth of the Supply Chain Management program. Works SCM leadership to ensure that standardization of product and processes are followed. Is a positive voice for decision makers throughout the entity. Help to ensure that processes for trialing, converting, or presenting new idea to SCM are appropriately followed.
Incorporates customers needs and expectations into daily operations and business planning. Promotes team building strategies and principles of group process in interaction with staff. Earns trust of customers and staff through effective listening and communications.
Constantly reviews supplies to validate what can be billed to a patient. Completes the process for chargemaster application, making product codes available through Advance, CareConnect, Optime, and Pyxis as needed.
