Work location: Texas Health Fort Worth 1301 Pennsylvania Ave Fort Worth, TX 76104
•
Work hours: Part-time, 24 hours; 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM or2:30 pm - 11:00 PM every other weekend; some overnights and some holidays.

Here's What You Need •High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
•RPhT - Registered Pharmacy Technician Upon Hire Required
•
6 months in a Texas Health Pharmacy Required •
Inpatient hospital pharmacy experience strongly preferred. •
IV Certification strongly preferred. •Proficiency in written and verbal English language, computers, the ability to adapt to various software systems, and basic math including conversions, proportions, ratios, and algebra.
•The ability to work alone and as part of a team.
What You Will Do Tasks specific to Tech II:
•Functionality requiring additional competency above Tech I, may require less supervision than a Tech I
•Autonomous responsibility either with record keeping or as a single point of contact outside the department.
•Advanced technology expertise and ownership
•Delegated functions of pharmacy leadership (manager or lead technicians)
•Timely and accurate preparation, delivery to the nursing units/appropriate departments & storage of medications, including (when appropriate) the use of technology to do so, varies by location.
•Ensuring accuracy of one's own work as well as the maintenance of required competencies, and other documentation. Must reflect consistently departmental quality improvement and patient safety standards, programs, and initiatives.
•Ongoing professional development and growth, leads by example, perpetuates accountability, manages own time.
•Communicate effectively, develop positive working relationships and role model teamwork that reflects the Texas Health Promise Behaviors. Trains new employees on routine tasks, under the direction of designated personnel.
•Manages own time and shares the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies. Validates competency completion for new employees.
•Other duties as assigned.
