Work location: Texas Health Plano, 6200 West Parker Road, Plano, TX 75093
Work hours: Part Time, 16 Hours, Days
Radiology Department Highlights:

Here's What You Need

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology upon hire required or
• Associate's Degree preferred
• 1 Year radiologic technologist experience preferred
• CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist Either by the TDH or TMB upon hire required and
• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists 6 Months required and
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required

What You Will Do
•Explain procedures to patient or guardian/family member if applicable prior to exam
•Position patient to correct anatomical area of interest
•Perform complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations
•Adjust technique parameters appropriately for age related factors
•Assist radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique
•Maintain attention to details
•Process and manipulate images, analyzes image quality, troubleshoots, make techniqueadjustments or repeat procedures as needed
•Utilize proper downtime procedures for PACS and HIS / RIS
•Correctly send and transfer images to PACS
•Print laser images from modality or PACS
•Coordinate with Centralized Scheduling and other modalities
