Description

Our Cashiers handle cash and credit card transactions for multiple departments in a prompt, courteous manner. As a cashier you are responsible for building relationships with our customers and maintaining a positive last impression.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Must have an outgoing energetic personality with natural ability to relate to customers.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Experience with Point of Sale System or retail sales experience is preferred but not necessary.
• Experience with computer systems is a plus.
• Must be able to demonstrate cash handling ability.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

1) Administration

• Ensure all transactions are correct before accepting payment.
• Initiate, process & maintain all related paperwork in an organized manner
• Maintain customer logs and service records by department.
• Answering incoming phone calls and transferring to the appropriate department.

2) Customer Service

• Provides prompt and accurate service at the cash wrap.
• Greet internal and external customers immediately, in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Handle transactions quickly, accurately and courteously.
• You are the last face of the dealership, leaving our customers with a positive lasting impression.

Physical Demands

• Finger and hand dexterity is required to operate a cash register, and handle cash.
• Occasionally required to lift 35 lb-50 lb of material

Working Conditions *

• Majority of work is conducted indoors; however, some outdoor booth sales are conducted periodically during open houses or other events.
• Potential exposure to battery acid, gasoline, chemical cleaning materials, exhaust fumes, or other toxic materials commonly found in a motor vehicle service department.
