TEXAS ELECTRIC is Hiring a Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator Near Bartlett, TX

About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a dependable, experienced Warehouse Associate to join our team in our Utility Supply & Services division located in Bartlett, TX. Schedule will be Monday - Friday, with the potential of overtime highly likely during peak business months.

What are the key responsibilities?

  • Pick, pack, and ship materials
  • Load and unload truck orders
  • Maintain accurate inventory in proper warehouse racking and storage areas
  • Complete accurate cycle counts
  • Receive and put away material
  • Able to operate forklift throughout warehouse
  • Willing and able to drive and assist at other Co-op locations, when needed

Qualifications:

  • Forklift and warehouse experience preferred
  • Prior forklift certification a strong plus
  • Valid drivers' license required for business travel between locations
  • Experience loading flatbed trailers preferred
  • Basic computer skills to include, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of employees within and outside the organization

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to work in outdoor areas, subject to the elements
  • Must be able to stand, sit, bend, pull, twist, push, and pull for sustained periods of time
  • Able to operate a computer and other office machinery using finger dexterity for typing and writing
  • Must be able to communicate, converse with, and exchange information by means of the spoken word
  • Able to perform physical effort to lift or move materials up to 50 pounds
  • Visual acuity to view a computer screen
