TEXAS ELECTRIC is Hiring a Loss Control Specialist/Safety Instructor Near Fort Worth, TX

What are the key responsibilities?

  • Ideal candidate will have a travel territory that will include the Fort Worth & West Texas areas 
  • 70% required travel with overnight stays
  • Extensive Public Speaking knowledge - sharing safety and best practices for electric lineman
  • Provide engaging group presentations/instruction

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Journeyman Lineman
  • 10 years’ experience in electrical distribution system construction and maintenance
  • Must have Valid drivers' license with clean driving record 
  • Knowledge of APPA safety manual and standards
  • Ability to travel extensively
  • Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Suite of Products

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate of Applied Science Degree for Electrical Distribution Lineman
  • Knowledge of RUS Construction Standards
  • Familiarity with Texas Electric Cooperatives membership
