Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as In Home Caregivers. As an In Home Caregiver, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need, ensuring their safety, well-being, and comfort. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

For this specific position, we are looking for a live in caregiver for our only child, a 8 month old baby boy, 5 days per week. The shift usually starts Sunday evening to Friday evenings.

This family is in a Small townhome setting, 2 story home with bedroom on the 2nd level. No cooking or cleaning needed for parents, just for baby only (keeping his room and play area debris free) . Parents work overnight at times, so cargeiver must be able to wake up at night to feed the baby as needed.

Caregiver has their own room and bathroom, and does not pay for their own food while there.

Pay is $1000.00 per month.

These are general Duties below but may not apply to this position.

Duties:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals in their homes
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Assist with mobility and transfers as needed
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Follow care plans and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures

Skills:
- Experience as a nurse or in a healthcare setting is preferred
- Proficient in meal preparation and dietary restrictions
- Comfortable working with individuals on the autism spectrum
- Knowledge of childcare practices for individuals with special needs
- Familiarity with assisted living and hospice care principles
- Strong patient care skills, including empathy, patience, and attentiveness
- Ability to provide direct support while respecting individual rights and privacy
- Knowledge of social work principles is a plus
