General Description: The Education and Resource Development Coordinator plays a crucial role in advancing the training and educational efforts of TAP. This position encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including coordinating training programs, continuously updating materials, and effective communication and collaboration to meet organizational goals and grant requirements. The Coordinator must be reliable and work autonomously in a hybrid of remote and in-person settings.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Training Coordination and Education Material Management:

• Regularly assess and update training materials, including PowerPoint presentations, resources, and other educational tools.

• Organize and coordinate all aspects of training programs.

• Ensure training materials are current, effective, and meet agency standards.

• Develop and improve training manuals, reference libraries, and educational materials.

• Implement testing and evaluation procedures to assess training effectiveness.

• Support staff to ensure confidence and comfort with their training presentations.

• Foster a positive and empowering training environment.

Data Collection and Reporting:

• Collect comprehensive data on training activities for analysis and reporting.

• Prepare and run monthly reports for data evaluation and program metrics.

• Monitor training outcomes for continuous improvement and effectiveness.

• Update the Education and Prevention Director, Grant Director, and Chief Operating Officer on training deliverables monthly.

• Strategically plan for meeting grant deliverables throughout the year.

Training Preparation:

• Periodically visit the office to prepare and assemble materials and equipment for training presenters.

• Ensure that presenters have all necessary items, such as projectors, "In Their Shoes" type toolkits, clickers

for PowerPoint presentations, and other equipment that may not be available at the training site.

• Organize and pack materials efficiently to facilitate seamless training sessions.

• Arrange travel and logistics for staff presenting at events, including booking accommodations, transportation, and material shipment.

Website and Communication Coordination:

• Ensure information about upcoming trainings and events is consistently updated on the website.

• Coordinate with the Communications and Marketing Director to provide information for marketing materials for upcoming trainings and ensure all training materials align with brand standards.

• Upload training content to the TAP Teachable platform and ensure that the content is accessible, user-friendly, and up-to date.

• Monitor and manage the online training environment for optimal user experience.

Outreach and Collaboration:

• Represent the agency on local and statewide advisory committees, task forces, work groups, various conferences, and community events.

• Set up and manage information tables to promote the agency's services and training programs.

• Actively seek training and education opportunities to enhance the agency’s outreach and impact.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in communications, victim services, or other related field or 4 years of Executive or Administrative Assistant. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills. Self-starter with the ability to take initiative, meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously with close attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office productivity tools, with aptitude to learn new software and systems. Experience in booking travel arrangements and managing corporate accounts. Ability to maintain and prepare statistical data records. Must reside in and be eligible to work in the State of Texas. Preferred cities: Austin and the surrounding Central Texas area.

Ability to travel statewide. Some weekends and evenings required.
