Glimpse of the Job
As a TCHATT Clinician I/MS I, working under supervision, you will deliver direct clinical services to patients. Your role will involve acting as a liaison among patients, physicians, and community resources. Within the Texas Child Access Through Telemedicine (TCHATT) program, you will function as a behavioral health clinician. Your responsibilities will include developing, delivering, and coordinating care plans and direct services in collaboration with schools, primary care facilities, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications for an TCHATT Clinician I/MSI: Master’s degree in Counseling and Guidance, Social Work, Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or other specialty related to job function and two years of behavioral health-related experience.
Some of the responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Clinical Intervention
Delivers brief evidence-based interventions and therapy to K-12 via telehealth to students, under supervision.
Uses assessment tools to track progress and tailor interventions, with supervision.
Provides supervised evidence-based risk assessments and safety planning interventions.
Works with school staff, parents, and students to serve and support individuals with varying degrees of symptom severity.
Clinical Service
Collaborates with other health professionals and provide integrated care.
Assists with supervised intakes and referrals to long term services, as needed.
Provides supervised psychoeducation to school staff, students, and families.
Conducts supervised workshops and seminars as needed.
Compliance
Ensures compliance with applicable regulations including HIPAA and FERPA.
Documents services and activities per department standards and assists with program evaluation activities to track and analyze utilization and effectiveness of services.
