What we want The Texas A&M School of Nursing is looking for a Program Aide to serve as a member of the Nursing team. The Program Aide, under general supervision of the Program Director, develops, modifies, and tests the new website, “Olivia-kids.org”. This website aims to engage parents and enhance educational and social preparation for children entering primary school. What you need to know Salary: $15/hr. Please note: This position is grant funded; future employment may be contingent upon future funding. Required Education and Experience: High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience 1 year of experience in website design, advanced technology, computer science or other related fields Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must be skilled in computer science and web design Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering preferred Knowledge of Olivia Health program Experience in website design and development Experience in computer science Experience working with IT Responsibilities: Website Development: Designs and deploys the intuitive and visually appealing website Incorporates animations to enhance user engagement and interactivity Presents information effectively through data visualization techniques Explores AI applications to enhance user experiences on the website Website Testing and Deployment: Develops and refines the website, ensuring functionality and responsiveness Conducts thorough testing to identify and address any issues Prepares the website for launch Evaluates the website’s performance under various conditions to ensure scalability and reliability Collaboration: Works closely with an interdisciplinary team, including computer science engineers, software developers, code writers, website designers, and project managers as well as healthcare and early childhood experts from our Program of Excellence for Mothers, Children & Families (POEMCF) to meet goals and expectations of the project Performs other duties as assigned.
