Job Description The Multimedia Program Aide supports the efforts of our Multimedia team. This position will work closely with team members to ensure the timely completion of projects while maintaining high standards of quality and creativity. The Multimedia Program Aide assists in various aspects of multimedia production, including video production, editing, motion graphics, photography, and project management. Required Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to communicate well and excellent interpersonal abilities. Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Planning and organizational skills. Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc. Essential Responsibilities Support project management efforts by organizing files, maintaining project timelines, and assisting with scheduling and coordination. Assist in video production from conceptualization to final delivery, including setting up equipment, operating cameras, and capturing footage. Edit video content using industry-standard software to enhance quality, add effects, and ensure a cohesive narrative. Create engaging motion graphics to complement video content and enhance visual storytelling. Capture high-quality photographs to be used in various projects, publications, and AgriLife Learn. Collaborate with the multimedia team to create visually appealing assets for videos and or course highlights. Provide general support to the Multimedia team as needed, including equipment setup and maintenance, file organization, and administrative tasks. Use Adobe Creative Cloud including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. Other relevant duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications The well-qualified candidate will: Have a Bachelor's degree in an applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Possess strong written and oral communication skills. A passion for multimedia production and a strong desire to learn and grow in the field. Proficiency in video production techniques. Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve. Familiarity with motion graphics and animation software, such as Adobe After Effects. Basic knowledge of graphic design principles and proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
