Texarkana Independent School District is Hiring an Interventionist Near Texarkana, TX
Primary PurposeWork with small groups of children identified as at-risk in assigned core subject. Work closely with Instructional Services, campus administration and faculty, as well as parents, to ensure student learning and academic success.
QualificationsEducation/Certification:Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject/grade level assigned or enrollment in an alternative certification program
Special Knowledge/SkillsKnowledge of subjects assigned
General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
ExperienceAt least five years of classroom teaching
Experience in Curriculum Development
