Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and maintain embedded software solutions for controlling machines, robotics,
and automation tools.
2. Lead the architecture and implementation of device drivers for various hardware components,
ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency.
3. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, firmware
engineers, and system architects to define requirements and ensure seamless integration.
4. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of embedded software to identify and resolve issues,
ensuring high-quality and reliable operation.
5. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of
innovation and excellence within the team.
6. Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in embedded
systems development, robotics, and automation.
7. Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and other team activities to promote knowledge
sharing and continuous improvement.
8. Contribute to the development of technical documentation, including specifications, design
documents, and user manuals.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field; Master's degree
preferred.
2. Extensive experience (10-15 years) in embedded software development, with a focus on device
drivers, preferably in the field of robotics or automation.
3. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C/C for embedded systems.
4. Deep understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS), embedded Linux, and other
embedded software development environments.
5. Proven track record of designing and implementing complex embedded systems, including
device drivers, communication protocols, and control algorithms.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and a systematic approach to debugging and troubleshooting.
7. Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary
teams and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
8. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring
junior engineers.
9. Passion for robotics, automation, and advancing technology to solve real-world challenges.
