Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks. This is a vital role within our organization, ensuring that financial transactions are recorded correctly and financial reports are accurate.

Duties:
- Perform double entry bookkeeping to record financial transactions accurately
- Reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial documents
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Generate financial reports and statements for management review
- Balance books between multiple property owning companies
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Assist with tax preparation and filing
- Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of cash balances and conduct bank deposits

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
- Strong knowledge of double entry bookkeeping principles
- Proficiency in using accounting software, specifically Quickbooks Online (Certification preferred) and MS Office applications
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of budgeting and financial report writing
- Familiarity with payroll processing and tax regulations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
- Preferred: property management bookkeeping experience

Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
