What to Expect Tesla is seeking a highly motivated Wireless Systems QA Engineer who will be part of Wireless Connectivity team that is focused on delivering high quality Wireless technologies on Tesla Bot & vehicle platforms (S, 3, X, Y, Cybertruck, ...). The role involves validation of Wi-Fi and Cellular Systems and conducting analysis of telemetry data from Engineering and Production fleet. The position requires working closely with cross-functional teams as well as external suppliers. Ability to work independently and creatively solving challenging design problems is of paramount importance in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with tight timing constraints What You?ll Do
Develop test plans for Wireless Connectivity Systems evaluation for Tesla Bot and Vehicle platforms
Perform tests that conforms Wireless functionality, features, performance and IOP Document, root-cause and follow up on bugs found in internal, beta, field and vendor testing
Contribute towards enhancing existing Test automation and fleet wide data analytics
Work closely with Wireless development, Antenna, H/W and System Software teams to optimize performance
Identify areas of opportunities and implement improvements, knowledge sharing and best practices
Drive various tasks to completion and be a connoisseur of great quality product
What You?ll Bring
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
Experience in SDLC/STLC and QA processes
Experience in Wireless technologies (Cellular, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth), Test plan development and execution
Good understanding of networking concepts (Ethernet, TCP/IP, etc.)
Knowledge or experience of Splunk or similar Data analysis tools
Ability to collaborate and communicate complex technical concepts
Willingness to work in environment where robots are deployed, which may include manufacturing and outdoor seZngs

Expected Compensation $104,000 - $348,000/annual salary cash and stock awards benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
