Tesla's Energy Engineering Products team is looking for a Software Program Manager to own and drive the delivery of outstanding firmware and software for our charging products. The right candidate has a proven track record of planning and executing multiple parallel complex programs and leading large cross-functional teams. The right candidate will understand firmware and software system development and have experience leading large cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional product performance and customer experience. You will collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to define the product roadmap, you will own the execution of that roadmap, and ensure the product successfully ramps to all customers.
You will be immersed in the design engineering process and will shepherd projects from concept through deployment to customers at scale. You will use your engineering background to understand the product requirements, technical risks, and the validation strategy to accelerate the development process. You will communicate and present project status, lead scrums and standups, highlight schedule risk, and develop recovery plans as needed.
As a Technical Program Manager, you are expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy on your programs while contributing to the development of tools and processes that improve the organization's productivity.
You must have a genuine passion for engineering products that will fundamentally change the world's energy infrastructure and must want to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment leading by example.
Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire:
$88,000 - $300,000/annual salary cash and stock awards benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
