• Support development of compliance programs for large infrastructure energy projects; identifying barriers in meeting operational deadlines, providing registration support, etc.
• Facilitate and manage compliance programs (NERC, FERC, ISO, and RTO) for 10 operational projects.
• Act as the company's subject matter expert in the areas of energy regulatory compliance
• Serve as Tesla's primary compliance contact with energy regulatory agencies and ensure timely and accurate response
• Analyze and evaluate compliance deficiencies in existing and upcoming projects and provide the necessary support to restore project compliance
• Provide recommendations to engineering and support groups to ensure the project design specifications meet NERC BES reliability standards
• Develop record keeping for training, standard changes, and maintenance evidence to comply with standards as well as audit

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5-10 years of experience managing regulatory compliance within an Energy organization including NERC Standards and compliance programs
• Experience with and knowledge of current NERC, FERC, ISO, RTO standards, operating policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Strong ability to read and understand project technical documentation, including electrical diagrams, engineering reports, and engineering drawings
• Strong understanding of Energy Market functions and processes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, technical writing skills
