EngineeringTechnicians within the Tesla Bot team and Test Systems Engineering team workside by side with engineers to support the development of our world classactuators, drive units, and energy systems. We're seeking top talent to joinour teams in designing and building test systems and in performing dynotesting.
- Execute motor anddrive unit testing on in-house dynamometers
- Support R&Dengineering with custom test configurations
- Focus on continuousimprovement and 5S practices
- Troubleshoot anddebug electromechanical test setups
- Mechanical aptitude:ability to take things apart and reassemble them without instructions
- Knowledge of basichand tools, fabrication a plus
- Knowledge ofelectrical skills: basic wiring ability, connecting sensors & powersupplies, soldering, using a DMM
- Understanding ofelectrical and rotating equipment hazards (LOTO, HV Training)
- Able to work wellunder pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines
- Excellent written& verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented withsolid documentation and reporting skills including Microsoft office and projectmanagement tools like JIRA / Confluence.
- Flexibility to worklong hours and weekends when required
- Mill and latheexperience highly preferred
- Ability toassemble/design custom 12v wire harness for test fixtures highly preferred
- High voltagecertification or past work experience highly preferred
- Linux based scriptwriting or some Python experience highly preferred

$24.40 - $65.40/hour cash and stock awards benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
