As a member of our team, you will help to shape the success of our projects in various applications worldwide. The Sales Engineer will be a key technical member of the commercial team that focuses on evaluating and defining new Tesla Energy storage product sales opportunities and working to deploy products against them. Sales Engineer has a broad area of activity and will follow the battery energy storage systems system through project initiation, Request for Proposals, sizing, optimization, and contracting.
This is multi-faceted role where strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals - mechanical, electrical, and thermal - is expected. Besides a rock-solid work ethic and a strong team-oriented personality, members of our team display creativity, passion, and a desire to break new ground in a constantly shifting technology landscape.
Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire:
$84,000 - $258,000/annual salary cash and stock awards benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
