TheTesla Energy System Software team is looking for an Embedded Linux SoftwareIntegration Engineer to build infrastructure and automation for testing ofthese systems. Be it a shipping container-sized Megapack battery at a powerplant or a backpack-sized solar inverter - our products need to be connectedand updateable all the time. As an integration engineer on the team, you willdirectly impact our ability to validate, improve, and monitor performance ofour embedded controllers and enable other software development teams to pushfeatures to the field faster.

• Collaborate with developers,system integration teams, and program managers to develop test infrastructure
• DevelopHardware/Software in the loop solutions for testing of embedded Linuxcontrollers
• IntegrateHIL/SIL testing into CI infrastructure
• Investigateperformance, connectivity, and OTA issues in the field
• Developsoftware/firmware features for embedded Linux controllers

• Excellent verbal, writtencommunication and teamwork skills
• Proficientin setting up, configuring and managing Jenkins servers and nodes
• Experiencewith building and deploying firmware
• Fluencyin C, C , or Golang
• Excellent scripting skills (Python orBash)
• Proficientin Linux environments
• Havestrong experience with any of the following: Bazel, Buck,Pants, SCons, QMake, CMake, Make, Ninja, Buildroot,Yocto or similar build tools
• Knowledgein computer networking, network/OS security, or wireless technologies (LTE,WIFI, BT, Zigbee, Thread)
• Knowledgein containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
• Knowledgein logging and visualization technologies such as Splunk
