The Manufacturing Engineering - GlobalRepair Business and Technical Solutions team is seeking a Controls Engineer tofocus on supporting the scaling of our operations and services provided. TheControls Engineer defines solutions to technical challenges and will be the keyliaison between Operations and Manufacturing Engineering teams allowingprojects to be executed with operational risk and readiness in mind. Theengineer also has intimate knowledge of project interdependencies and canengage cross-functional teams as required. Technical engineering knowledge iscrucial to be able to effectively define and manage project and operationalKPIs, assess technical and commercial risk, and critically challengeengineering decisions made in a cross-functional setting.

What You'll Do
  • Define, implement and drive project requirements,workflows and plans while managing timelines, resources, communications,quality, risks, uncovering roadblocks, defining critical paths, identifyingresource constraints, and any other issues that arise
  • Finalize project scope, define initial assumptions, andsecure project resources and monitor budgetary and CAPX spend
  • Work with business leaders, program managers andexecutives to identify the success criteria of the project
  • Provide insight around potential risks and opportunities,resolve conflict, initiate resolution and deliver results
  • Identify and document all project milestones anddeliverables and keep project plans up to date at all times, including resourceallocations, tracking hours, monitoring schedules, milestones, deliverables,updating percentage completion, etc
  • Continuously monitor and measure project processes andactivities to identify and communicate potential issues, risks, or problems ina timely fashion and provide corrective action options to drive to resolution
  • Lead cross-functional teams including management andexecutives. Includes resource &dependency alignment, coordination of activities, and transparent communicationof project status and risk
  • Escalate schedule delays due to issues and risks andtrack and manage change requests to scope and obtain approval if necessary
  • Lead onsite installation and commissioning efforts andconduct project evaluations, post-mortems, and drive process change toincorporate learning
  • Create formal project communication plans key projectmetrics and dashboards for project status communication
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor'sDegree in Engineering, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • 5 years ofprogram/project management experience in a fast paced, highly fluid environmentor other evidence of exceptional ability
  • Experiencewith PLC programming along with experience with robot teaching Fanuc/Kuka
  • Experiencewith vision systems and knowledge of SCADA and Ignition development
  • Basicunderstanding of GD&T and mechanical design for project input anddemonstrated, applied experience delivering complex programs and projects
  • Experience inProduction/Manufacturing environment and experience working with complexelectromechanical assembly lines
  • Proficiencyin Confluence, Jira along with familiarity in Agile principles - Scrum, Kanbanetc
  • Self-organized,outstanding written and verbal communication skills along with stronganalytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experienceworking with stakeholders, Product & Engineering Managers to keep everyonealigned
  • Travelrequired - 20-40% depending on project workload
