As a member of the Autopilot Infrastructure team, youwill design and implement a diverse set of backend services and tools thatpower Autopilot software and processes. The systems you build will have a largeimpact on Autopilot, from fleet data collection & processing, to MachineLearning workflows, to evaluation and validation of the Autopilot softwarestack.
As an engineer on the Autopilot Infrastructure team, youbring top-notch software engineering skills and can contribute to our systemsimmediately. A strong candidate will either be an excellent softwaregeneralist, or someone who has an exceptionally strong backend andinfrastructure background.
- Design and implement backend services and tools thathandle fleet data collection, batch processing, training, simulation, andevaluation based on real-world sensor data.
- Influence architectural decisions with focus on security,scalability, reliability and high performance.
- Setup and maintain monitoring, metrics & reportingsystems for fine-grained observability and actionable alerting.
- Work closely with the other Autopilot teams to design andimplement backend components required for future Autopilot features andprocesses.
- Experience with Python.
- Experience with Linux, networking, storage andvirtualization automation with tools like Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible,Puppet or similar.
- Experience with AWS services such as EC2/S3/RDS/SQS.
- In-depth knowledge of container orchestrators and clustermanagement software.
- Experience with data stores and indexers like PostgreSQL,ElasticSearch, Redis.
- Experience with C , Go.

$104,000 - $360,000/annual salary cash and stock awards benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
