Tesla participates in the E-Verify Program
*Manage team schedules to hit throughput targets and maintain equipment
*Coordinate with test engineers on any changes to procedures or samples, and plan downtime for modifications, upgrades, or custom tests
*Maintain test equipment and data collection tools
*Troubleshooting test equipment issues, escalating to equipment engineers as needed
*Ensure standard operating procedures are up to date with actual lab practices
*Identify opportunities for improvement in throughput, consistency, or safety
*Insist on maintaining a world-class workspace
*Reinforce a culture of safety, even as we push batteries beyond their limits
*2 years hands-on experience in lab/field/workshop setting, ideally managing a team of technicians
*Strong sense of safety consciousness in lab and workshop setting
*Detail oriented, proactive, and intentional with day-to-day tasks. Constantly thinking about ways to improve operations and communicate feedback & insights.
*Experience in a test lab a plus (data acquisition, instrumentation, electrical test equipment)
*Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
*Basic knowledge of electric circuits, wiring tools, soldering a plus
*Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software (Proficient in Excel)
*Experience with battery cells or packs a plus
Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire:
$96,000 - $252,000/annual salary cash and stock awards benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
